Cover Reveal – Watcher of the Dark (Jeremiah Hunt #3)

WATCHER OF THE DARK

(Jeremiah Hunt #3)

A spine-tingling new Jeremiah Hunt supernatural thriller.

New Orleans was nearly the death of Jeremiah Hunt, between a too-close brush with the FBI and a chilling, soul-searing journey through the realm of the dead that culminated with a do-or-die confrontation with Death himself.

But when he performs an arcane ritual to reclaim the soul of the magically gifted, beautiful woman who once saved him, he must flee the law once again, to Los Angeles, city of angels, a temporary sanctuary. In L.A., he has to contend with Carlos Fuentes, who sees in Hunt a means to obtain the mystical key that would open the gates of Hell. Fuentes knows Hunt’s weakness—his loyalty to the woman he loves, and to another “gifted” friend—and uses the real threat of torturing them as a way to get Hunt to help complete his dread quest.

Hunt has learned a lot since his life was irrevocably hijacked by fate months ago. But when his friends are threatened by the supernatural predator known as the Preacher, Hunt knows that all his newfound experience and ability will go for naught unless he can keep both the Preacher and Fuentes at bay long enough for him to somehow find a way to free his friends from mortal peril.

Even More New Cover Art – Templar Chronicles Omnibus

Yesterday’s mail brought the newly revised version of the cover art for the Templar Chronicles Omnibus edition, containing the first three books in the urban fantasy series (The Heretic, A Scream of Angels, and A Tear in the Sky.)  I’m really liking the direction these covers are taking and I hope the bright colors and more effective branding help increase the popularity of the series as much as I think they will.

New Cover Art – A Tear in the Sky

The rebranding/redesign of the Templar Chronicles series continues!  Here is the new cover art for A SCREAM OF ANGELS, designed and created by Clarissa Yeo, who is the same artist who did the cover for INFERNAL GAMES.  This time around the cover features Cade’s wife, Gabrielle, on the Sea of Sorrows in the Beyond.

What do you all think?

New cover art – Infernal Games

Having discovered that my original cover artist had used unlicensed images for the original cover to INFERNAL GAMES, I was forced to commission a new one.  Thankfully, it all worked out for the best as the new image is striking and far better suited to the series than the previous one.

Cover Reveal – Das Blut der Helden (The Blood of Heroes)

This fall, Atlantis Verlag will be publishing the German edition of By the Blood of Heroes.  This morning the cover art landed in my inbox and I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you!  I think it is absolutely terrific and hope you do as well.

The artist’s name is Mark Freier and he has quite a selection of gorgeous covers on his website, Freierstein.de.

New cover art – The Heretic

I commissioned some new cover art a few weeks ago for THE HERETIC and am rather pleased with the result.  I know I posted it to Facebook but don’t think I’ve formally posted it here for all to see, so without further ado…

Coming Nov 27th – KING OF THE DEAD (Hunt Chronicles #2)

Jeremiah Hunt sees the world through the eyes of the dead, and now the dead are taking their revenge

Joseph Nassise shook up the urban fantasy genre with Eyes to See, a novel New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Maberry called “heartbreaking, deeply insightful, powerful and genuinely thrilling.” In a devil’s deal, Jeremiah Hunt sacrificed his human sight in exchange for the power to see the hidden world of ghosts and all of the darker spirits that prowl the streets. Hunt uncovered a world of murder and magic that took his daughter from him and nearly cost him his life, but that was only the beginning…

Now, Hunt is on the run from the FBI, who have pegged him as a mass-murdering dark sorcerer. His flight from the law is diverted to New Orleans when his companion, a potent witch, has a horrific vision of the city under magical siege. When they arrive, they realize that the situation is more dire than they could have imagined: the world of the living faces a terrifying attack by forces from beyond the grave.

King of the Dead, the second book in this groundbreaking series, promises more of Nassise’s electrifying writing that will enthrall readers looking for a supercharged, supernatural thrill.

And just around the corner…

…the book you’ve all been waiting for.  INFERNAL DREAMS, book four of the Templar Chronicles.

Cover art – Library of Gold

My editor over at Gold Eagle was kind enough to send the art for my latest Rogue Angel adventure, Library of Gold, due out in early 2012.  The storyline deals with the search for Ivan the Terrible lost library, so I think the artwork is especially appropriate.
