Writing can be a lonely and frustrating business. Finding the time to pursue your creativity, breaking through that seemingly endless wall of rejection, and staying focused on a particular project are just some of the issues that plague writers daily. Sometimes you need your own “Mickey” to push you to the best you can be. Working with a successful novelist who is also trained as a coach can move your writing to that next level and shatter some of the roadblocks currently standing in your way.

Just as in sports, a writing coach can help you bring your best “game” to the table each and every time you sit down to write.

If you want to:

  • explore what you can achieve with your writing
  • bring more focus and motivation to your current project
  • discover strategies to remove obstacles and barriers impeding your writing progress
  • learn how to deal with rejection
  • develop a specific project or work on a specific skill set
  • take your already successful writing career to a new level
  • balance writing with the rest of your life

..then working with a writing coach might be for you.

How Coaching Works

We’ll meet via telephone on a regular schedule, either 2, 3 or 4 times per month. During our calls we will focus on your progress, identify any roadblocks or challenges you may be facing, and develop a plan to keep you moving ahead. Your goals are my priority and I’ll share my experience, advice, and tools to help you get to where you want to be. Before the end of the call we’ll agree on what steps you are to take between sessions to move you forward toward your goal.

Monthly Coaching Packages

Choose the package that best meets your needs and your budget.

Paperback Package — $150.00 — 2 sessions per month, 30 minutes each. Perfect for self-starters and those on a limited budget.

Trade Paper Package — $295.00 — 3 sessions per month, 40 minutes each. Includes email support between sessions. Provides regular consistent time with your coach.

Hardcover Package — $400.00 — 4 sessions per month, 50 minutes each. Includes email and phone support between sessions. Maximize your productivity and improvement with a weekly call!

Bestseller Package — $650.00 — Up to 8 hours of coaching per month, scheduled where and when you need it. Includes email and phone support. 2 hours of line-by-line editing of your project can be substituted in place of the same amount of coaching time.

All coaching packages include:

  • One on one personal coaching
  • Access to my years of experience as a successful novelist, including synopsis, outline, and proposal samples that were used to sell actual works, as well as the system I use to write every one of my novels.
  • An initial three month commitment, after which we will work month to month for as long as you like

I offer a no cost, no commitment 40 minute session to anyone interested in exploring what coaching is all about and how it can help you reach your goals. This call gives us both a chance to get to know each other and will help me evaluate where you are in your process and how I can best help you move forward. After the call, you can decide whether or not you want to move forward on a regular coaching schedule. Why wait? Get started today by emailing me for your complimentary session!
