First I wanted to let you know that I just published a 5-star review of Shades of Reality over at the B&N web site. I was pretty disappointed to see that the only other review was from someone who didn’t read the book and gave it a one-star review. (Why do people do things like that anyway)?
Hopefully that will help offset any sales you lost from that other review!
Secondly, I think that it’s great that you offered the Heretic for free at Amazon! However, I’m puzzled as to why the book doesn’t seem to be on the B&N site at all? The last two books in the Templar Chronicles are there, but not the first one. After reading Riverwatch and Shades of Reality, I went ahead and bought the Templar Omnibus, but it seemed strange that books 2 and 3 would be available for the Nook, but not book 1.

As to your question, in order to participate in the free program over at Amazon.com, the book in question can’t be available on any other platforms for 90 days. Since I was doing an exclusive launch with B&N this month for The Cerberus Protocol, book one in the HELLstalkers series, I decided now was the best time to do the giveaway over at Amazon on The Heretic.
Its not ideal, but The Heretic will be back at B&N in the near future.
