Vote for Storytellersunplugged as your Top Writing Blog!

August 30th, 2008 • By: admin My Sites

Hi! I noticed that this is your first visit to my site so I wanted to say Welcome! You may want to grab my RSS feed or you can also subscribe and receive updates by email. And I love comments, so feel free to tell me what you think! Thanks for visiting!

Many of you know I run a multi-author site about writing and publishing called Storytellersunplugged. (If you don’t, where have you been for the last three years?  Get over there and start reading!  With more than a 1000 posts on writing and publishing by thirty different authors, how can you afford not to do so?)

Well, for the past couple of years, Michael Stelzner of the Writing White Papers blog has done a “Top 10 Blogs For Writers” post, and it has been amazingly successful in terms of driving traffic to those blogs that make the list.

To participate, all you need to do is leave a comment at his post explaining why you think a given blog is worthy of making the Top 10.

In the past, great blogs like Men With Pens, Freelance Writing Jobs, and Copyblogger have all made the cut.

This year I’d love to see Storytellersunplugged make the list in the top ten. To show your appreciation for all the fine writers who create content here, do me a favor and go visit Michael’s blog, and let him know how much you appreciate Storytellersunplugged.com.

Thanks!

All of the Templar Chronicles - in English!

Full Moon Press

Full Moon Press

Welcome to Full Moon Press Newsletter #11

Joseph Nassise’s “Templar Chronicles”

We are very pleased to announce that we are sending out contracts for Joe to sign for all 3 “Templar Chronicles” novels this week!

We will have artist announcements and a preorder link for “Heretic”, the first book in the series next week and we will have a very cool promotion for this series as well!

These books are international bestsellers and we expect them to be very popular FMP titles!

More details will follow next week!

******************************************************************

I can’t stress how important it is for the first book in this series to sell well. I know just about everyone out there has read it, and that you are all anxiously awaiting books two and three. But the publisher and I wanted to do this as a full set and sales of the first book are clearly going to impact how quickly we get the next two out to the market.

So it would be great to see a good number of pre-orders come in next week when Full Moon makes the announcement that things are ready to go. I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed - these books are going to be beautiful!

Droemer-Knaur’s new ebook program - with DER ENGEL!

June 27th, 2008 • By: Joe Nassise News, Uncategorized

ebooks

I was quite happily surprised to receive an email from Ralf Muller, CEO of Droemer-Knaur, this past week informing me that my novel DER ENGEL was one of only fifty titles specifically selected by DK to be featured in the launch of their new ebook program.

“Dear Author,

We are excited today to inform you of our new eBook channel, and we are happy that your book/s will be part of this new distribution channel. During the past 6 months we’ve set the course to be the first trade publisher who supplies a cutting-edge market with the Knaur eBook channel. 50 top titles are part of the inital Knaur eBook program. Please have a look into the brand new website www.knaur-ebook.de.

In the future all new titles shall be available as ebook, provided the approval of the authors. Though there are no readers available yet such as Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader we experience a growing interest in ebooks in Germany which we would love to serve.

We are really glad to take this trend-setting step forward together with you.”

Certainly made my day and I’m very enthused to be a part of this ground-breaking program with my German publisher.

Sightings around the Web

June 25th, 2008 • By: admin News

Today was my day to be featured on other people’s websites, apparently.

Dark Scribe Magazine has an interview with me conducted a few weeks ago by Derek Clendening.  Derek was a good guy to talk to and I enjoyed the interview while we did it.  If you are looking for some inside info on why I do what I do and just how I do it, you’ll probably find the interview an interesting read!

Tripping the Muse, the writing blog written by Rick DeCost, looks at the topic of writer’s websites today and uses my humble little site as its primary example.  My thanks to Rick!  Drop on by - he always has some interesting reading over there.
